Art For Babies

An exhibition of paintings designed specifically for the developing mind and vision of babies from birth to age six months is being held at St Mary’s Hospital.

The public are warmly invited to bring their babies along and enjoy the exhibition which is being held at St Mary’s Hospital in the Full Circle Restaurant from 17 March to 1 June 2007. The exhibition is open daily 9.00am to 9.00pm and admission is free.

Even though colour vision does not develop in babies until around three to four months, strong images and patterns appear attractive and stimulating from an early age.

Art for Babies is being promoted by Healing Arts, Isle of Wight NHS Primary Care Trust.
