The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service was alerted at 17:05hrs, today Saturday 4th September to a collision between two planes over the Havenstreet area.   One of the planes crashed in the Havenstreet area and the Ambulance Service deployed an ambulance and a 4x4 rapid response vehicle to the scene of the crash where there are two fatalities.   The other plane involved in the crash was able to return to Bembridge Airfield where a second ambulance and crew were deployed.   One patient from this plane has been conveyed to the Emergency Department at St. Mary’s Hospital, Newport.
