St Mary's Hospital

Many hospital services provided by NHS Isle of Wight are provided at St Mary's Hospital in Newport on the Isle of Wight.

The hospital provides care to both medical and surgical patients and has 477 beds and offers a number of services including the NEW Beacon Health Centre, a fracture clinic, outpatients and day surgery.

Specialist services provided at St Mary's Hospital include urology, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, ears nose and throat (ENT), cardiology, gastroenterology, rehabilitation, respiratory, dermatology, care of the elderly, rheumatology, gynaecology, maternity and paediatrics.

All these services are supported by diagnostic imaging, laboratory and pharmacy which are all onsite. There is also an Intensive Care Unit, a Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit, a Coronary Care Unit, an Endoscopy Unit and a Chest Investigation Unit.
