Quality Care - everyone, everytime

SIM at Police conference on 05-09-17
Island Mental Health Services shine
05 September 2017

Improving care, recovering lives and managing demand for services, have all been important topics during today’s national mental health and policing conference in Oxford. Thanks to the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) and the College of Policing for an opportunity to speak about our support for the Serenity Integrated Mentoring (SIM) network. Sgt Paul Jennings from Hampshire Constabulary and Vicki Haworth, the Trust’s Innovation Lead for Mental Health services, work closely with our partners and the Wessex Academic Health Science Network (AHSN). You can find out more more about the project online at https://www.highintensitynetwork.org/.

As well as running a workshop for the conference participants Sgt Jennings and (sitting to his left) Vicki Haworth spoke to HRH Prince William about the importance of addressing mental health issues.
