Learning resources for Upskilling Programme

Upskilling will be a combination of e-learning and face-to-face sessions. 

There will be three separate training programmes depending upon the role you'll be undertaking.

The three roles are Registered Staff, Logistical Support Role, and HCA Support Role.

Following a self-assessment of knowledge and skills and prior to attending your face to face training day, please review and undertake any e-learning you feel you need to in the links below.

  • Registered Staff - click here
  • Logistical Support Role - click here - This role is only required to undertake the following e-learning. Please email iownt.deployment@nhs.net to let them know you've completed it
    This role is to assist wards and departments with administrative support, acting as a runner, answering telephones and taking messages, and passing on messages to patients' relatives 
  • HCA Support Role - click here
    This role will support the HCA and wider clinical teams with aspects of direct patient care
