 Programme Content:

  • Causes and prevention of cardio-respiratory arrest
  • Adult Basic Life Support
  • Cardiac monitoring and basic cardiac arrest rhythms
  • Defibrillation
  • ALS treatment algorithm
  • Basic airway management and ventilation
  • Drugs and drug delivery during initial resuscitation

 Learning Outcomes:

This course provides participants with the essential knowledge and skills to initially manage an adult patient in cardiac arrest for a short time before the arrival of the resuscitation team prepares them for assisting the resuscitation.
