The College of Podiatry
The college is supportive of supervision being shared by a multidisciplinary team. It is recognised that whilst the 1000 hours set for placements is clinically related it is not all patient facing. Some time is needed for reflection and other activities and as such not all of the time needs to be in direct patient contact.
