Decision Making Tools

UpToDate is a point-of-care decision making resource used by doctors all over the world and based on the latest medical evidence.  UpToDate covers all medical specialities and includes detailed information on diseases and conditions, practice changing updates, drugs, calculators and patient information leaflets.  Isle of Wight Trust staff now have access to UpToDate via their website and mobile app. 

To access UpToDate on the web
(on computer and mobile)

  • Go to uptodate.com/login
  • Select Institutional Login
  • Login with OpenAthens
  • Optional – Register to accrue CME

To access the app on your phone or device

  • Search ‘UpToDate’ in the app store
  • Install on your mobile
  • Login with OpenAthens
  • Register

 

Please remember to use your personal registration to automatically accrue CME every time you use UpToDate.
