Premises and IT facilities

Opening Hours

9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)
**24-hour access will be available to registered users - see library staff to find out about this.**

Work space

The library will be returning to our previous location in the centre of the education centre where we will be housing our physical collection, service desk, reprographics, wellbeing section, IT support and study skills training.  We will also have a separate computer room for quiet study located towards the back of the education centre.  


IT facilities

There will be 8 Trust computer workstations and/or laptops in the computer room with up-to-date Internet access and the usual software packages installed.  There is also a Cybercafé for staff located in the main hospital (on level B opposite the Canteen).  **Please contact the library for the access code.**


Wifi 

Wifi access is available for staff and patients through NHS Wifi. No login required but you must agree to the terms on the landing page.  Staff Wifi is also available by signing up to the Guest Wifi network.


Reprographics

Photocopying, printing and scanning facilities will be available in the main library area.


Equipment Loans

Trust laptop computers will be available for loan to library members.  We also hold several projectors, and a portable projection screen.  In addition, staff can borrow display boards for open days/publicity events, and iPads for use on the NHS Wifii network.  Please book in advance to be sure the equipment you require will be available.
