Quality Care - everyone, everytime

Care Quality Commission

The Care Quality Commission works to promote improvements in the quality of healthcare and public health in England and Wales. We are required by law to be registered with the CQC and to make a declaration against nationally agreed core standards that apply across the NHS in areas identified as being of real importance to patients and the public.  These include safety, cleanliness, the quality of the clinical care that patients receive, and whether they are treated with dignity and respect.
