The Isle of Wight NHS Trust is a high performing organisation and health services on the Island compare favourably with those on the mainland – for example we are the third best in the country at keeping people out of hospital, despite our older population profile. This is supported by our embedded culture of integrated service delivery and a strong track record of delivery of quality and safety, operational performance and financial targets.
We strive to improve our good track record of patient safety and patient experience, including reducing the incidence of healthcare associated infections. You can find more details about our patient safety performance by clicking here.
Performance is reviewed on a monthly basis at Trust Board meetings which are held in public. To view our current and previous performance reports have a read of our How Are We Doing section.
The CQC inspected the Trust in November 2016 and published a series of reports in April 2017. You can find out more about the CQC inspections by clicking here.
