Artwalk

The Artwalk will give you a guided tour of some of the artworks on display in the public areas at St. Mary’s which you can visit  and view whilst receiving treatment or simply as a member of the public visiting St. Mary’s.

The Artwalk guide is laid out in separate floor plans:
  • Reception and Level A (ground floor main hospital)
  • Level B and C (main hospital)
  • North Hospital
  • Level B (link corridor to main hospital), split into 2 sections
The NHS on the Isle of Wight also has a collection of artworks – paintings, photographs, prints, drawings, watercolours, textiles, sculpture, ceramics, mosaic, glass -  on display in its several clinical departments, wards and treatment areas both at St. Mary’s and other health buildings around the Island. You will see these when you are receiving healthcare at a particular department. Because these are displayed in clinical areas they are not open to the public to visit.

However if you have any enquiry or would like to know more about the collection or arrange an appointment to see a specific artwork please contact: healingarts@iow.nhs.uk  or call 01983 534253
