CARE Awards

Recognising the fantastic work of #TeamIOWNHS is important to us and we are excited to be holding the virtual IOW NHS CARE Awards. The past year has been a difficult time for us all, however, outstanding service has still been delivered and we want to acknowledge that and support the continuing development of a culture where everyone feels valued for the work that they do and are recognised for the contribution that they make.

This is a great opportunity for the staff to celebrate one another and showcase that people's efforts have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated.

The following categories are available to nominate teams or individuals that you feel deserve the recognition.

This award recognises a volunteer who has given their time to make the greatest difference to our patients, staff and visitors.

This award recognises a clinical team that has gone above and beyond to make an outstanding difference to the care our patients receive.

This award recognises a non-clinical team that has gone above and beyond to make an outstanding difference by providing support that enables the effective delivery of a service.

This award recognises an individual or team who have demonstrated exceptional innovation in their work or shown exceptional development and improvement to a service. They will have changed the way they work or introduced new systems or roles that have made a difference to patients, either directly or behind the scenes.

This award recognises an individual who inspires, motivates and encourages colleagues to bring about change, improvement or innovation. The nominee does not have to line manage a team.

This award recognises an individual who has made a notable achievement in their learning and development journey.

This award recognises an individual that demonstrates the Trust values while empowering and encouraging others with their exceptional attitude and drive.

This award recognises an individual who provides exceptional person-centred care through listening and understands the needs and wishes of  the people who use our services and their families and who also delivers that care with exceptional compassion and dignity.

This award recognises an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to improve patient outcomes, improve safety or the standard of care delivered.

This award is for an individual or team initiative that has taken a proactive approach to improving the health and wellbeing of employees and encouraged employees to take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing.

This award recognises an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the NHS throughout their long career.
