Chief Executive Award

The new Chief Executive Award launched in February 2021. Our Chief Executive, Maggie Oldham, hears of lots of wonderful things that individuals and teams are doing across the organisation, whether that be from speaking to a team, reading a Greatix certificate, receiving feedback from a patient to spotting praise on a social media. However, some stories really stand out as having really gone above and beyond in their role. It is these individuals or teams that will receive a Chief Executive Award certificate and a gift.

Congratulations to the Emergency Department on receiving a Chief Executive Award 🎉

Chief Executive, Maggie said "I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all, you are an amazing team of people who has seen us through thick and thin, the improvements made that are benefiting the patients and the community is down to each and every one of you. The way you have embraced the changes in the last 18 months is really admirable and on behalf of the executive team, thank you, we are extremely grateful"

After receiving two glowing Greatix forms from colleagues in Pathology, Ken was then awarded a Chief Executive Award 🎉

"Ken goes above and beyond, the team really appreciate him, everything always looks and smells amazing, he has stayed late on occasion when the waiting room has been busy, he has helped to calm a patient who was very nervous and at Christmas he brought everyone presents and for valentines he brought in a rose for everyone. He is wonderful to have in the department"
