Chief Executive Award

The new Chief Executive Award launched in February 2021. Our Chief Executive, Maggie Oldham, hears of lots of wonderful things that individuals and teams are doing across the organisation, whether that be from speaking to a team, reading a Greatix certificate, receiving feedback from a patient to spotting praise on a social media. However, some stories really stand out as having really gone above and beyond in their role. It is these individuals or teams that will receive a Chief Executive Award certificate and a gift.

The first team to receive an official Chief Executive Award is the Clinical Site Management Team.

The team were awarded a Greatix certificate for professionally and sensitively handling patient information during the pandemic and ensuring the timely information met the mandated timescales. However it is very well known how much more this team does on a daily basis and the workload they have had to deal with behind the scenes especially during this pandemic. The Clinical Site Management team consists of 6 Registered Nurses, 2 site support officers and an operations room support officer. They cover the service 24/7 supporting and managing patient flow across the organisation, along with any operational or organisational issues that may occur from, major incidents, fire alarms, floods, COVID-19 etc. They work across the organisation and wider community to ensure that if anything occurs that may influence the operational status of the organisation is escalated and responded to. Despite how busy they are they have risen to every challenge they faced.

Congratulations and thank you to the team, very well deserved.
