Making a complaint

If you have a concern about a current situation that you feel needs to be addressed, we would usually recommend you raise your concern with the department or ward that it relates to. Ward sisters and General Managers are always happy to speak to patients, relatives and carers to discuss concerns and try to resolve any issues as they arise.

If you wish to make a formal complaint, in the first instance it may be helpful to contact the Patient Experience Officers (PEO’s) in the Complaints/PALS team who will be able to offer initial advice and support and guide you through the complaints process.  Alternatively you may wish to write directly to the Chief Executive.
