As part of Isle of Wight NHS Trust’s commitment to continually improve complaints handling and in line with the recommendations from the Robert Francis* and Clwyd-Hart reports** into complaints handling by the NHS, we are publishing anonymised complaint summaries for all the complaints that we manage.
These summaries state whether a complaint has been upheld, partially upheld or not upheld and provide a brief outline of the complaint, the findings from the investigation and the outcome.
