Message from Darren Cattell, our new Trust Chief Executive

Message from Darren Cattell, our new Trust Chief Executive
01 December 2021

It is both an honour and a privilege to take on the role of Chief Executive, four years after joining the Executive Team at Isle of Wight NHS Trust.

I have seen first-hand the incredible work that our teams, supported by our partners, have done to improve the care we provide, protect people during the pandemic and to put the people who use our services first.

It was fantastic to be able to celebrate the recent publication of our Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection report with so many of our staff recently.

We are now focused on delivering the next phase of our improvement journey, working with our partners on the Island and across the Solent, to make sure that people receive the best possible services which are both clinically and financially sustainable.

I look forward to working with our partners, the community and our teams in the months and years ahead.

Darren Cattell
Chief Executive
