Resuscitation Team move
Resuscitation team at heart of Trust’s training facilities after move to Education Centre
12 April 2018

The Trust’s resuscitation team now have access to new and improved training facilities after relocating to a larger space in the Education Centre.

The relocation means the team of three now have a separate presentation room to deliver resuscitation training to staff, larger storage space for its equipment and a dedicated mannequin cleaning facility.

The lack of space at its previous location at St Mary’s Hospital, in the North Block at the end of the Nightingale Ward, meant the team had to move their training equipment across the site to the Education Centre when hosting larger groups. Now they can deliver training to larger groups in the hub of the Trust’s learning and education facilities.

Resuscitation officer, David Turner, said: “As a training provider to our staff, co-locating with others who are involved in the learning and development process is not only a logical step, but makes practical sense as we can deliver training in a larger, dedicated space, without needing to move around to accommodate bigger groups.”
