Start your career in healthcare at our recruitment open day

Start your career in healthcare at our recruitment open day
15 August 2022

If you are looking to start your career in healthcare then come along to our recruitment open day for healthcare support workers on Saturday 20 August 2022 from 10am to 2pm in the Education Centre at St Mary’s Hospital.

You don’t need any healthcare experience to join us as a healthcare support worker. It’s what makes you ‘you’ that counts. Your natural ability to put people at ease. Your pride in doing a job well. And your passion for making life that little bit better for everyone you meet. It’s these skills that will help you hit the ground running and ensure our patients get the care they need and deserve

There is no need to register your interest, just turn up on the day where there will be an opportunity to be interviewed and offered a permanent position.

What do you need to bring with you:

  • Your CV if you have one or details of your education and work history
  • Proof of identity - you will be required to undertake an identity check and will be required to provide photographic ID and proof of address –a full list of appropriate documents can be found on the NHS Employers website

With over 30 different healthcare support worker roles, from healthcare assistants, and mental health support workers to nursing assistants you will have the opportunity the chance to learn lots of new skills, and the reward of seeing your work make a difference for our patients.

Find out more about the training you will receive and benefits of joining the NHS and our team.
