NHS Trust football team hopes to repeat victory!

NHS Trust football team hopes to repeat victory!
17 February 2020

On Sunday 1st March the Isle of Wight NHS Trust Charity Football Team (Spartans) will take on the Fire Service in their second bout.  This follows a thrilling 6-5 win for the NHS at their last clash.  The teams will be fighting it out to raise funds for the Firefighters Charity and Dream Holidays.

As with previous NHS charity football matches, this one has additional entertainment for all the family.  Little ones joining the adults can enjoy an Easter egg hunt, egg and spoon race and a ‘decorate the Easter bonnet’ competition.  Half time will see a difference with children of all ages given the opportunity to chase an ‘Easter bunny’.  The ‘bunny’ will run from one goal to another whilst clutching Easter eggs and trying to reach their destination without being tackled to the floor by the children!

Gates open at 12:30pm with kick off at 1pm at East Cowes Vics.

The Spartans have a programme of matches scheduled throughout the year to raise funds for various charities.  If you would like further information please contact
