Immunisations and Tests

We provide a wide range of Immunisations and tests. Shown below are the more popular tests but we are pleased to discuss any more you may require.

Blood Screening available:

  • Hepatitis B
  • Hepatitis C - PCR
  • HIV
  • Mumps Antibodies
  • Measles Antibodies
  • Rubella (German Measles)
  • Varicella (Chicken Pox)
  • Blood group


  • MSRA swabs
  • Alcohol screening
  • TB screening (T-Spot test)


Hepatitis B

Hepatitis B is recommended for workers who potentially may have contact with blood or body fluids. These include:

  • Care workers
  • Clinical staff
  • Domestic workers
  • Street cleaners
  • Refuse Collectors

A full course of Hepatitis B consists of 3 injections over a period of 6 months followed by a blood test at which time immunity levels are checked. It is possible that a booster may be needed but the nurse would discuss this at the time with the client.

Immunisation History

Isle of Wight NHS Occupational Health & Travel Clinic Self Report portal.


You can use this portal to request the specific record that you require and that we hold for you in line with GDPR and local retention policies. Requests made via this portal will only report on the limited digital evidence that we currently hold in OH and that we have undertaken, therefore should we be unable to process your request via this method please contact OH via the email below so that our team can check and review historic files stored in non digital methods at the earliest opportunity. Should you also require records of immunisations or reports that were carried out via your GP, specialist or previous employer then please contact them to obtain this information


Immunisation Identity Validated Requests - Where applicable, all reports requested via the method below will state if an Identity Validated Sample (IVS) has be taken. However, should you require our clinical team to provide further signed confirmation please contact us via the email below where one of our team will assist you at the earliest opportunity. 


Please note OH will only primarily hold records relating to vaccinations and blood tests carried out by our nurses for OH clearance purposes.


We do not have access, or hold records of GP vaccinations or vaccinations carried out at other NHS trusts.
