Cowes Clinic

We have four fully trained practice nurses available Monday to Friday.  They have their own appointment system.  As each nurse specialises in different areas, the receptionist will ask you, when making your appointment, which clinic you wish to attend.

  • Coronary Heart Disease Screening
  • Family Planning
  • Cervical Smears

  • Ear Syringing
  • Removal of sutures
  • Wound checks & dressings
  • Checks for patients over 75 years

  • Antenatal Clinics with Community Midwife
  • Minor Surgery
  • Family Planning (inc. IUCDs and Nexplanon)
  • INR (Warfarin) Clinics
  • Smoking Cessation

Non-NHS Work

Patients requiring GPs to do non-NHS work, e.g. private sick notes, medical examinations, reports, and claim forms etc. will be charged. An up to date list of charges is displayed in the foyer.  Fees paid for work undertaken are non-refundable.
