Meet the Team

Cheryl Berry - Band 7 Clinical Team Lead
Cheryl is a Chartered Physiotherapist, registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Cheryl joined the team in 2015 as Team Lead and now shares the role with Zoe Edwards.

Zoe Edwards - Band 7 Clinical Team Lead
Zoe is a Chartered Physiotherapist, registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Zoe qualified from Birmingham University in 2003 and started working in Paediatrics in 2005. She worked both in the community and then at Birmingham Children’s Hospital before moving back home to the Isle of Wight in 2010. Zoe specialises in Children’s Orthopaedics and musculoskeletal conditions as well as sharing the Team Lead role with Cheryl Berry.
Marie-Ann Fountaine - Band 7 Clinical Specialist
Marie-Ann is a Chartered Physiotherapist, registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
Helen Thornton - Band 6 Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist
Helen is a Chartered Physiotherapist, registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

Emma Hunt - Band 6 Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist
Emma is a Chartered Physiotherapist, registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), who joined the Paediatric Physiotherapy team in 2015. She graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2012 and begun working for the NHS the same year. Emma is based in the Paediatric Therapies building but enjoys her weekly visits to Medina House School, where she works alongside their Therapy Assistant, seeing a variety of children, enjoying fun and games in the physio room, class and the hydrotherapy pool.

Lauren Mellors - Band 6 Paediatric Physiotherapist
Lauren is a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP). Lauren qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of Southampton in 2015 and specialised into Paediatrics at the Children’s Hospital Oxford in 2017. Lauren joined the Isle of Wight Community Paediatric Physiotherapy team in 2019 and enjoys seeing children both in clinic and out in the community.
