Speech Therapy-Adults
The Adult service is for people from the age of 18, and provides assessment, advice, and treatment for adults with acquired difficulties in speech, language and communication as well as eating and drinking difficulties. We support the individual as well as their family members and carers.
The Adult Learning Disability service is provided for people with a learning disability, following transition from special education into adult life. The Speech and Language Therapist provides assessment, advice, treatment and therapy for adults (16+) who present with swallowing and/or communication difficulties.
