0 - 19 PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING SERVICE

The 0-19 Public Health Nursing team consists of both qualified midwives or Nurses with specialist training in Public Health, Senior support workers, Community Nursery Nurses, Support workers and administrative staff.
Our services are offered to all children under 19 who live on the Isle of Wight including those currently in elective home education.
These two professional teams are led by Specialist Community Public Health Nurses (SCPHN) who oversee the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme services.Â
The 0 - 19 Healthy Child Programme is delivered in partnership with other agencies, providing early intervention and prevention, through a variety of approaches.

Our aim is to provide a professional, confidential  and universal service for every child on the Isle of Wight to empower them to be healthy, happy and achieve their full potential
