From the minute your baby is born they are amazing!
Babies are born with brains that have a huge capacity for learning and most brain development happens before the age of three. Babies are born to be sociable but need your help from their first day to fully develop their social skills. It is never too early to start. Time spent singing, talking, smiling, listening, playing and responding to your baby will help to develop their brain and support future learning, which will increase their happiness and confidence.
We understand that becoming a parent is such an exciting time, but for some it can also cause worry or anxiety, so anytime you feel you require a little bit of support, advice or guidance about any concerns you may have, give your Health Visitor a call.
We work in partnership with other agencies to promote health and well being for the family
As part of the 'Healthy Child Programme' we offer a universal service to all families until your child starts school.
