The ‘Timid to Tiger’ group is a 10-week group for parents of primary school children who are experiencing anxiety. We are looking forward to running our third group from October 2013.
Self Esteem group: The second Self Esteem group is due to start in September 2013. After the successful pilot run, it is now going to be run twice yearly for 13-16 year olds. There have been some ideas around adding more sessions to the group to include a focus on anxiety and depression, as these issues can often be linked with low self esteem. We’ll keep you posted!
Coping skills group: We’re looking forward to running this group for adolescents, which will be focusing on skills for getting on with others, managing emotions rather than letting them run your life, and feeling happier and more in control. It is a 10 week programme, which is due to commence on 25th September and run until 11th December, with a break in the middle.
Enhanced visiting restrictions are in place. These will be reviewed regularly based on the current situation at St Mary's Hospital alongside the latest guidance from UK Government and NHS England.
