Thank you to Friends of Haylands Primary School
The Chair of Friend’s of Hayland’s Primary School, Donna Day presented the Applegate Breast Care Unit of St Mary’s Hospital with a cheque for £277.00.
The money was raised during Race for Life from the sale of teas and coffees with the pupils deciding where they wanted the proceeds to go.
Staff at Applegate are delighted with the donation and commented that the money would either be spent on equipment or possibly an air conditioning unit as the waiting room becomes rather stuffy during the summer months.
