From 13 April to 30 June 2026, you will have the opportunity to visit a community venue near you for a mini health and wellbeing check and to receive your spring COVID-19 vaccination.

Working in partnership with primary care, the Vaccination Centre at St Mary’s Hospital is bringing support closer to home by hosting a series of drop-in clinics. These local sessions aim to provide convenient access to advice about health and wellbeing and seasonal vaccination services within community settings.

Visitors to the clinics can benefit from a range of support, including blood pressure checks and guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Advice will be available on topics such as weight management, smoking cessation, diabetes, and managing stress, helping individuals take proactive steps towards better overall health.

Those eligible for the spring COVID-19 vaccine - including people aged 75 and over, and individuals aged 18 and above with severe immunosuppression - will be able to receive their free vaccine at these sessions. Experienced nursing staff will also be on hand to answer questions, address concerns, and signpost further for support where needed.

Sue Lightfoot, Clinical Lead at St Mary’s Vaccination Centre, emphasised the value of accessible care: “By bringing clinics into local communities, we’re making it easier for people to access support without the need to travel far. These visits can also help identify potential health issues early.”

April clinic dates and locations are on our COVID-19 vaccination and health clinics webpage, with further sessions in May and June to be added soon.
