Breathe Easy Isle of Wight was formed in 1999. It is a friendly, warming, and welcoming group where like minded people can meet up socially and benefit from chatting to others who have a respiratory condition.
The group holds monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of every month from 2pm to 4pm at Arreton Village Hall.
Additionally, the group meets socially on the third Tuesday of every month at various locations.
The group aims to prevent Islanders having to manage their lung condition alone. Meetings are held monthly for anyone living with a chronic lung condition. Occasionally through the year additional meetings for lung specific conditions including Interstitial Lung Disease ILD and Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis IPF, are held.
Respiratory healthcare professionals regularly attend to talk and answer questions from its members.
