What is the NHS Federated Data Platform?
The NHS Federated Data Platform (FDP) is a national programme led by NHS England. It is designed to help NHS organisations bring together information from different systems to support the delivery of patient care, improve operational performance and help staff make informed decisions.
The FDP is being introduced across the NHS to support a range of functions, including managing waiting lists, improving patient flow and supporting hospital discharge arrangements.

The role of Palantir
Palantir Technologies provides and supports the technology platform that underpins the NHS Federated Data Platform.
It is important to note that Palantir does not have routine access to identifiable patient information. Palantir can only process information in accordance with NHS instructions and strict contractual, legal and information governance requirements.
