The Oliveira Library was opened in 1984 in memory of Tony Oliveira, a consultant surgeon who had worked at St Mary's Hospital.  The library was part-funded by donations from island doctors.

We aim to provide a gateway for information to support evidence-based healthcare, education, continued professional development, research and lifelong learning.
