Please do not contact individual staff members or services directly.If you would like to film or take photos of one of our services or sites, please speak to the team first. This is to protect the privacy of our patients and staff.
You can contact the Communications team between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday by emailing: pho-tr.communications@nhs.net.
If you have an urgent enquiry that is outside these hours, please call the hospital switchboard on 01983 822 099 and ask to speak to the Communications on-call lead.

On 7 July 2005, Phil Nation, now a Paramedic for Isle of Wight Ambulance Service, was a few hours into his shift with the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) unit in London when they received an alert to attend what was reported to be multiple explosions in the city.

Island’s Outpatient and Community Diagnostic Centre sees the equivalent of 38% of the local population since opening its doors
Since opening its doors six months ago, staff working in our Outpatient and Community Diagnostic Centre at St Mary’s Hospital have delivered almost 55,000 appointments and tests to support improved diagnostic care for islanders - that's 420 patients a day!
