The British Medical Association (BMA) has announced that industrial action by resident doctors will take place across England from 7am on Friday 14 November 2025 until 7am on Wednesday 19 November.

We are raising awareness of our Call 4 Concern (C4C) patient safety service, which supports the principles of Martha’s Rule by empowering patients and their loved ones to speak up if they are worried about deterioration.
Important information
Our services remain very busy.
You can help by:
- Only using our Emergency Department or call 999 for life threatening injuries or illnesses
- Collecting family and friends from hospital as soon as they are ready to be discharged to free up beds for those who need them
- Visit NHS 111 online or call NHS 111 for heath advice, or contact your local pharmacist or GP.
